  15. I have had problems connecting to my ISP with the Zoom V.34X. Usually, 
  16. it connects, goes through the handshaking noise, and then sounds like it 
  17. has connected normally for about 3 -5 seconds. At this point it goes 
  18. back to the handshaking noise and stays that way until I disconnect or 
  19. it disconnects itself.

  21. I am using Win95, TCP/IP, Netscape 2.01 on a pentuim 75 computer. I have 
  22. talked to Zoom tech support, and my ISP tech support, tried various init 
  23. strings with no luck. Once in a great while it will stay connected for a 
  24. few minutes and then drop the line. When I connect to my ISP through 
  25. Hyperteminal, the sucessful connects are better.

  27. I had my phone line checked, PACBELL says it is o.k. The ROM version is 
  28. 1.309. Does anyone have any ideas about what I can do next??

  30. BTW, my PPI 14.4 MTII works great, no problems, but I sure would like to 
  31. get this Zoom working right! Thanks for the help.
